HIVES GALORE!

I have been out of commission for a few days here due to: HIVES! Hives, Hives - everywhere HIVES!!!!I think I got them when I cleaned out the shed last week. My white blood cell count was down and the dust/mold spores created a lovely variety of hives - HEAD TO TOE. Today they are only in my hands and feet. Lovely. I am alive and well though . . scratch, scratch . . .

Hi Lisa:

Yup, been dere dun dat...years ago my doctor warned me that I might find myself having strange allergic reactions to common things and I found out he was right. My all time favourite was after being prepped for surgery and being shaved from shoulders to knees (hey bud, be careful what you do with that razor blade), I had an allergic reaction to the Hibitane soap used to wash me up. I broke out in hives all over...an antihistamine solved the problem quickly.I still keep a stash in the medicine cabinet because the chemo side effects still make me prone to having unexpected allergic reactions...you might want to check if you able to take a Benadryl (sp?) to help calm the itching.
Cheers,
Al

Hey friend. Where are you, home or Kelowna? I'm home from my trip - details to follow. Getting the pictures developed today.
Speaking of needing treatment.... I need to borrow some of Rhonda's stuff for the sun rash....how I got a rash without sun is beyond me.
