Okay - so I am still puff -p-diddy! Yuck! The grad photos Rhonda took when we were jackin' around with her grad garb last week make me laugh. Can one stuff anymore steroids in to their body. Good God. I need water, water, and more water to flush out the roids.
A little news on the side . . . Norm and I bought a house yesterday. Yes, we are moving in to town. It is a house close to DP Todd. We get in at the end of September. It is a one owner home that became too large for the widower. It is livable now - but new flooring and a few changes here and there and wow! I am very happy! Seven years with Rhonda, Chris, and now Ethan - man, they'll be asking us not to let the door hit us on the ass on the way out. heehee.

LAST CHEMO - but still not finished . . .
Today was a 9:30 am start. Rhonda and Jordyn dropped me of at the front door (errands to run) and up I went to see my peeps. I set up, chatted up fellow chemo'ers and had a seat. A lovely gal I met last week came over and asked further about the DIEP surgery. I really hope she takes that option. It kicks on the TRAM-flap.
Mom and dad arrived and Becky, Rhonda, and Jordyn arrived shortly after. Later, Griffin called and needed a key to his dad's house. That was a nice treat because then Laura, Gemma, and Griffin also got a visit. They waited for me to finish but . . . the PICC really likes me and will not come out.
They drew out 20cm's and there is still another 20+cm's to go. They even called out the PICC queen - Rene, who put it in, and it was still no-go. So at 2:30 we came up with this plan: tomorrow I will warm up my arm, have ONE GLASS OF RED WINE, and report at noon to have the rest removed. Apparently the red wine will open my veins and stopped them spasming. Rene said the veins know we are tampering around and hence the spasms.

THEN I will be a chemo graduate!!

TOO HOT FOR WORDS!
I have been walking the university hill and staying away from the heat. I fear more hives :)
Other than this, I am doing the odd painting project, looking at houses for a potential buy, and getting healthy. Not much to report . . .

HAPPY REUNION!
Gerraine Morgan was in town this week! She is a dear friend from high school years. She was Rhonda's grad year, but we all hung out. (great basketball and badminton player). She lives in Atlanta now. She was in town to see her mom and she looked us up - thank heavens. She and her friend, Gloria, and Rhonda and I visited for several hours at BP. It was so nice to reminisce and laugh. We had a good time. TYE-BIZE-LIE!
p.s: I am still a tad steroid and hive puffy, but feeling good. My final chemo is now August 11th. It was moved from Friday, August 8th - to the Monday. :)
